In Portland on the Night of November 4th, 2008

Fireworks in the sky.
Oh my oh my.
Cars honking on 39th.
People buying Celebratory Pie.
We have a new president.
My oh my oh my

read this --

Christians, i defy you to find me any word, statement or idea within our Constitution that is not in complete agreement with the very Word of God.

and Founding Fathers, i defy you.  tell me why it's taken nearly 24 decades for We the People to start acting like Civilized Americans?  or are we?

people, we go into a time of tremendous overhaul.
those who are True will go Free.

much of our History rests on bloodied backs of a People, stolen in the night and carried over sea.  to be sold as Moving Parts for a Terrible Machine.

and those who are True will go Free.

a Man's Person is his Person.  Can be owned by no other Man.  both Men can however be owned by a Woman.

Enlightenment gives the Idea.  Desperation provides the Need.  you'll never guess which one hurts worse.

a truly enlightened old man named Alexander said to me once, "I don't care what color the president is.  I just want a damn good one."

God Bless You and Happy New President

Spooktastic

To everyone who attended our Halloween Night show, thank you. It was awesome. Down South Sally performed. So did the Devil (dressed like Pocahantas) played flawlessly by Diane Uy. Jeff Munger and Jambo Land were there. And we even were able to talk to the Ghost of the Purple Barn, his name is Don. Great guy.
Tick's Tacky Spooktacular will be available in about a week for podcast. A preemptive round of applause for Linda on that one! And can we also clap for Lindsay and her skinned pet rabbit, Tara and her six-pack of NC Brown and of course Angie who's costume entitled "www.myspace.com/angie" won her an authentic U.S. fifty-dollar bill.

And how great was that party afterward? Good grief (wiping sweat from my brow). I kept looking for "Bluto" Blutarski and Frank the Tank. Unfortunately they didn't show up, but everyone else in SE Portland did. It was glorious.

Then in one final swipe of awesomeness, I wake up Saturday morning (2 p.m.) and my house has been cleaned. What the . . .??!! Thank You Don the Ghost of the Purple Barn. Seriously, he cleaned my home. Not kidding. He even left a note.

Love,
Tick
